Discover the emerging field of Land Partnering with landscape designer and environmentalist Edwina von Gal and horticulturist & chemical-free landscape contractor Tony Piazza at Edwina's home and "laboratory" garden. See how they manage the property as an ecosystem rather than an isolated landscape. The visit will cover how to maintain a healthy soil biome, control pests without chemicals, manage biomass, and select the best native, deer-resistant plants for year-round beauty and ecosystem services (for birds, butterflies, and more!). An organic, vegetarian optional, lunch will be served on the deck.
