The Art of Sustainability with Ingrid Carozzi

Ingrid Carozzi is one of New York's most sought-after florists, and as owner of Tin Can Studios in Brooklyn, she's at the forefront of the sustainable floristry movement.
Ingrid is known for her unruly yet sophisticated designs in vintage or reclaimed vessels, and breathtaking, large-scale installations: hanging chandeliers, living walls, and urn arrangements. Deeply committed to sustainable practices, she works with a variety of alternatives to floral foam, a plastic product that takes decades to break down.
In this hands-on workshop, Ingrid will guide students through the creation of a flower wall in her lush and organic modern aesthetic. You'll use unexpected contrasts and a variety of sustainable alternatives (including non-toxic paint!).
