Pen and Ink

Pen and ink, among the most versatile and useful media, can be used to create high quality, easily reproducible drawings. Learn how to produce different strokes and how to create tone by using stipple, line, and crosshatch techniques.
Prerequisite: Botanical Drawing II

Carol Ann Morley

Carol Ann Morley, who holds a degree in illustration from Medway College of Art in England, is a botanical illustrator, fine artist and dedicated teacher. She helped found the Botanical Art and Illustration Certificate Program in 1985 and has taught at the garden since then. A member of the BrooklynBotanic Garden Florilegium Society, her art work is in many collections, including the Shirley Sherwood and the Hunt Institute.
