Intro to Ikebana

More than merely arranging flowers, Ikebana seeks to create a living sculpture that transcends the beauty of nature by focusing on the shape, line, harmony, and balance of the plants. Instructor Junko Miura, one of New York's most acclaimed floral artists and second-generation ikebana master, discusses several basic principles of this ancient Japanese art form and guides you through creating a simple arrangement.
