The medium of silverpoint has been employed by artists for centuries, dating back to the Renaissance. Silverpoint drawings are created by "stroking" the surface of a specially prepared ground with sterling silver wire. In this one-day workshop, learn how to create an appropriate subtle range of values as you experiment with a variety of surfaces. You'll also practice tinting your drawing. Patience is required!
