Handcrafted Brooms

Explore the ancient technique of broom-making. Fiber artist and educator Poliana Danila will guide you through this craft of working with natural materials to create a useful and beautiful hand broom. Using natural or black-dyed sorghum, you'll make a 16-inch broom that can be used as a sweeper and/or displayed as an art piece on your wall, mantel, or altar.

All materials are included and will be provided during class.
