Bearded Irises in Watercolor & Colored Pencil

Learn the basic watercolor techniques used by botanical artists while painting a lovely, bearded iris in watercolor and colored pencil. Flat wash, layering, and dry brush techniques will be covered. This online course will offer live demonstrations, videos, and individual feedback in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere. No drawing or painting experience is required as the instructor will provide reference and guide you through the process.

You will need to purchase all required materials listed in the Materials List link below. The instructor will send you a line drawing of the botanical subject that you will also need to print before class.
