Biography: Until September of 2007, Bill served as Chief of Staff to Governors Kaine and Warner of Virginia. As Chief of Staff, Bill essentially served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Commonwealth. To relieve the stress of the job, Bill became an avid bird watcher. In retirement he has traveled extensively to South America, Central America, China, Africa and Australia in search of birds.Bill served in the United States Marine Corps graduated from Mary Washington College in 1978. He now divides his time between looking for birds and looking after grandchildren.
