No image available Biography: George Chieffo is a Senior Program Manager at the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS), where he manages noncredit and professional development programs.Originally from Brooklyn, NY, George earned a B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in Elections and Campaign Management from Fordham University. He worked for President Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign before moving to Virginia where he joined Terry McAuliffe's campaign for Governor. Following the election George was appointed by the Governor to work in environmental and conservation policy under the Virginia Secretary of Natural Resources. Since the end of the McAuliffe administration, George has worked as a Political Consultant in Richmond and Program Specialist for the Political Campaign Management Professional Certificate Program at SPCS.

Political Campaign Management Professional Certificate
Class meetings total 60 contact hours, with weekly class meetings on Monday & Thursday evenings. Students will have access to additional self-paced video lectures and materials. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Professional Certificate in Political Campaign Management from the University of Richmond, and will earn 60 professional hours (equivalent to 6 CEUs) that can be applied to professional development goals.
