Course detail: Brown v. Board of Education

It has been 69 years since the landmark decision in a 9-0 vote by the Supreme Court to rule and declare that segregated schools are not Equal. Brown v. Board would usher in the Civil rights movement and laws of 1964-1970 making it possible for Dr. King and Malcom X to have a great impact. We'll journey back to explore this topic and examine the Brown II and Brown III supreme Court decisions that followed the original ruling and discuss education today regarding race and discrimination.
