Course detail: Fire Service Instructor 1 - Seminar Part 2 Face-to-Face
ATTENTION: ONLY active Kansas Firefighters are eligible to take KFRTI courses; if you are not an active Kansas Firefighter, DO NOT enroll in this class. Contact the Institute at kufire@ku.edu or call our toll free phone number (866-804-8841) to request special permission to take this class. Enrollments are monitored daily and unauthorized (non-Kansas firefighters) will be removed from the course and their registration fee refunded.
This seminar is Part 2 of a blended learning format with a focus on short, verbal presentations of assorted fire service topics by students participating as group leaders in various classroom-based activities. Every participant is required to perform the role of group leader in this training format. Additionally, all students are assigned a 15-minute presentation to deliver to the class on the final day of the seminar. Note: All students must first complete the online portion (Part 1) of the training before attending.
