Course detail: RR1 - Rope Rescue 1 Training
Rope Rescue 1 is a three-day course (one additional day for testing) designed to meet the NFPA Standard 1006 on Rope Rescue Technician Level 1. It teaches the basics of technical rope rescue including types and uses of ropes/knots, equipment, anchor systems and ascending/descending techniques. Class will include classroom and hands-on application of skills on a planned building or tower involving strenuous physical activity, and the ability of the student to work at heights.
