Removal of victims from locations requiring high-angle rescues is not covered in this course due to the advanced nature of this training. Contact the Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute for information on courses designed to meet high-angle rescue training needs.
This course is open to Kansas firefighters and Kansas grain facility employees at no cost providing that firefighters and grain facility employees train together in the same class. Grain facilities and fire departments are encouraged to cooperate in the scheduling of this class. Courses delivered solely for grain facilities or other private sector customers are subject to fees.
Personal protective equipment is to be furnished by the student and includes: hard-toed work boots, leather work gloves, hard hat, and eye protection (shield, safety glasses, or goggles)
