Course detail: Firefighter 1 - NFPA 2024 - Part 2 Face-to-Face
At the conclusion of this course, you will have learned numerous firefighter skills, such as force entry through various doors and windows, attack a passenger vehicle fire, conduct search and rescue operations as a team, attack interior building fires as part of a team, and many more skills.
This course is presented face to face. This material covers firefighter 1 skills as presented in NFPA1010.
After completing the course, the student will have met the firefighter 1 requirements in the NFPA 1010 2024 edition Standard on Professional Qualifications for Firefighters.
The text for this course is Skill sheets from IFSTA Essentials of Firefighting 8th Edition, Firefighter 1, provided by the student.
Personal protective equipment is to be furnished by the students and includes Structural Helmet, Hood, Gloves, Coat, Pants, Boots, and SCBA. Secondary eye protection is recommended.
