Course Detail: OSH-BRDBLMS - Birds and Blooms from Boatwright's Rare Books and Archives

a peek at the beautiful bird and blooms that live within the Galvin Rare Books and Archives. In this course, we?ll explore some rare botanical and ornithological collections, highlighted by recently donated materials, including a set of 19th century engraved lilies from the renowned French botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté. Introduction to the collections followed by a lecture-based study highlighting books and prints from the collection that focus on birds and flowers, concluding with a question and answer session.
