The School of Professional & Continuing Studies offers the Brewing Science and Process course for students interested in learning about the craft brewing process. This 10-week course provides an in-depth exploration of current and historical beer styles and how a brewmaster can use each of the four primary ingredients to produce these classic styles as well as create new and innovative products. Additionally, students will learn about the equipment a brewmaster uses and how it plays a role in producing multiple styles along with how to develop and write beer recipes.

This course is a distinct complement to our Beer Brewer Professional Certificate Program, guiding participants through the commercial landscape of craft brewing. Over a 10-week online session, learners will delve into brewery business models, strategic and financial planning, and the crafting of marketing and sales strategies, culminating in the development of their own brewery business plan. This program offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, setting the stage for success in the craft brewing business arena.
