Course Detail: OSH-ABBEYRDPT2 - Let It Be, and Get Back to Abbey Road, Part 2

Let It Be, and Get Back to Abbey Road will be a two part class. On the evening of Monday, April 10, 2023, the original documentary Let It Be will be shown. This film captures The Beatles at work preparing songs for an album and an impromptu mini-live concert on the rooftop of Apple Records in London. Then on Tuesday, April 11, our class will discuss how the Let It Be sessions helped to create the path for the recording of album Abbey Road. The class will be grounded in a careful review of articles, books, and interviews about Abbey Road. Additionally, film clips about the album and playing selected outtakes and final tracks from the album combined with commentary from the instructors and student input will be a part of the class.
