Course Detail: NC-MIXFERM - Mixed Fermentation Brewing

Building upon the Beer Recipe Formulation course, Mixed Fermentation Brewing will examine the use of multiple yeast and bacteria cultures in beer fermentation. The course includes science and chemistry related to wild yeasts and bacteria cultures, special equipment for mixed fermentation, and protocols for preventing cross-contamination of beers in a professional craft brewery. Must be 21 to participate.
