Iran was the center of the world for more than 1500 years and has certainly been the center of attention for the last 55 years. This presentation is not only the history of Iran but is also the story of their cultures, religions and politics over their 3000-year existence and the instructor's eight-day adventure traveling alone through the country with an Iranian guide who was a Professor of English at Tehran University. His hobbies were studying world history and the religions of the world, and his job was to keep the notorious 30% at bay.
