The I.U. Tax Practitioner Institute is designed for tax practitioners who need the most current information about federal and state tax codes, laws, and regulations. All facets of federal tax law, including changes to the Affordable Care Act, and their implications, will be covered in detail. Instructors from the IRS, the Indiana Department of Revenue, and the field of tax preparation will be featured presenters. The program has been approved for 16 CPE hours for tax professionals, 15 CPE hours for enrolled agents, and 13 CLE hours for attorneys. Participants will receive a free copy of the Commerce Clearinghouse Master Tax Guide. This program is designed to keep tax practitioners up-to-date on current tax laws, regulations, and procedures. Practical information for filing individual and small business returns is stressed. The program provides 16 hours of CECs for CPAs, public accountants, and enrolled agents, including one hour of credit in ethics and two hours in accounting/auditing. The school has been accepted for 14 hours of credit by the CFP Board of Standards, and approval for 12.9 hours of CLE (1.0 hours ethics) is being requested from the Indiana Commission for CLE.
