Learn to use advanced features in Adobe InDesign® Creative Cloud (CC) to produce professional brochures, forms, and documents. This course will not only make you comfortable designing and planning workflows and templates, but also efficient and effective at amping up your publications.


August 14, 2024 to September 18, 2024, Online Course
This class will focus on making various pottery forms intended to be fired in the wood kiln. Participants will learn how to glaze and prepare pottery for wood firings, as well as learn how to load and fire the kiln.

Learning to make teapots and pitchers will be the focus of this class. Demonstrations will include making wheel-thrown, slab-built, pulled, and molded spouts as well as lids and handles.

Learning to decorate pottery in new and innovative ways will be the focus of this class. Decorating techniques such as stamping, texturizing, piercing, and others will be demonstrated. Participants will have an opportunity to make pottery forms, try out new decorating techniques, and glaze fire their work to completion.

This class will focus on making various stoneware pottery forms intended to be fired in the gas reduction kiln. Demonstrations and one-on-one instruction will be included. Participants will learn new glazing techniques as well as learn how to load and unload the kiln.

The focus will be on testing ceramic glazes that will be used to finish the pottery that you make during the class. The basic components of a ceramic glaze will be discussed and how they respond to material substitutions and firing atmospheres.
