Course detail: Fire Officer Weekend
Participants will explore the distinction and balance between leadership and management, refine their communication and listening skills for both routine and high-stakes environments, and apply practical strategies for mentorship, coaching, recruitment, and retention. The course challenges students to embrace change with vision and accountability, while grounding all decisions in ethical principles. Designed for both line officers and administrative leaders, this program prioritizes real-world application, cultural relevance, and operational credibility providing leaders with the clarity and confidence to shape the future of their departments through example, not just authority.
