Biography: Dr. Steven E. Anders graduated with a Ph.D. in History from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in 1982. During his 30-year career as Command Historian at Fort Lee, Va., he published numerous articles and received the Army's highest civilian award for teaching excellence.
