Course: Brewing Foundations: Brewing 101 (NC-BREW101)

This course will take students through the brewing process from milling grain to kegging the final product. Students will learn the fundamentals of brewing through this hands-on workshop. Hands-on experiences include Hop Immersion, Mini-Mash and Yeast Pitching. Students will learn and discuss the following concepts and processes:

  3. The Brewing Process
  4. Brew House Training
  5. Cleaning & Sanitation
  6. Brew House Terminology
  7. Off Flavors
  8. Beer Sampling
