The Interior Design Basics course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles and elements of interior design. This course is perfect if you'd like to learn basic concepts to implement into your own home. Students will explore the creative and technical aspects of interior design and review the basic concepts necessary to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Throughout the course, students will learn about color theory, lighting design, furniture selection, material selection, and decorative elements. Emphasis will be placed on understanding how these elements work together to create cohesive and harmonious interiors. We'll also explore current design trends and discuss how they may be best implemented into your home.





About the Instructor
Lisa Morton has been in the interior design industry for over 20 years designing both residential and commercial spaces as well as luxury private aircraft interiors. She is passionate about empowering others to cultivate environments that look great but also elevate their daily experiences.
