For project managers, staying up-to-date on the latest project management techniques is key to consistently delivering meaningful results.

You will be trained in a number of key areas, including forecasting, risk management, project recovery, and resource allocation. You will also learn how to use Microsoft® Project® 2019 for tracking and reporting needs. By course completion, you will be able to apply these project management tools to your next project. This course also meets educational requirements for Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.

The Project Management Institute's (PMI) PMP® credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources. The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) serves as the global standard for terminology and processes related to the project management discipline.

PMI's credentials undergo a vigorous process of development and maintenance that is recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Hardware Requirements:  This course must be taken on a PC. MACs are not compatible. 

Software Requirements:  PC - Windows 8 or later. 

Browser:  The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft® Edge and Safari are also compatible. Microsoft® 365 and Microsoft® Project® 2019* (Not included in enrollment)

About the Instructor
Nikki Choyce, PMP® has been involved in the project management field for almost 20 years and has worked as a consultant and trainer for much of that time. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and very active in the project management community. She has worked in a variety of industries, including Information Technology, Insurance, Manufacturing, Marketing, Aerospace, Construction, and Telecommunications. She has worked with Microsoft® Project® for over 10 years.
