Create works of art using embroidery and needle felting!

Join Dr. Laurel Campbell in fiber arts exploration. For the first four weeks, students will learn embroidery techniques to create a finished piece of art. Students will design their own pattern or do free stitching like the image to the left. Each work of art will be created on fabric using embroidery hoops and can be finished by framing or used as a throw pillow cover.

The second four weeks will be dedicated to needle felting. Students will learn how to make felt beads and small pouches on which they can embroider seed beads when finished. Students will complete several projects over the course of 8 meetings.
