AWP Writing Workshop and Book Study:

Engaging All Students as Writers and Readers

The Appleseed Writing Project (AWP) is hosting a one-day summer workshop designed to give teachers (K-16) time to write, share ideas, and explore teaching strategies addressing the literacy needs of our students. The morning will be devoted to a writer's workshop format, followed by a book study in the afternoon, both addressing the reading/writing connection and engaging students as readers and writers.

Please Note: The price of the book that will be used for the book study portion of the workshop is included in your registration fee. Your book will be distributed to you prior to the workshop by the Appleseed Writing Project.

The deadline for registration is Monday, June 27, 2022.

For questions or additional information (including book study choices) contact Karol Dehr with the PFW Department of English & Linguistics, Appleseed Writing Project Director at dehr@pfw.edu or (260)481-8869.
