Learning to make teapots and pitchers will be the focus of this class. Demonstrations will include making wheel-thrown, slab-built, pulled, and molded spouts as well as lids and handles. Participants will have the opportunity to practice these new skills and make their own teapots and pitchers to glaze fire to completion.

Who Should Attend?

* Students will need to supply the following: 1-gallon bucket, towel, apron, and plastic bags.

Instructor Seth Green is an Associate Professor of Ceramics in the Department of Art and Design at Purdue Fort Wayne. He received a MFA degree in Ceramics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009 and a BA degree in Art from Southern Utah University in 2006. He enjoys teaching ceramics, is active in his studio practice, and receives national recognition for his ceramic vessels.
