Course Detail: COM027 - Community-Centered Care Professional - NEW!

Build your capacity to support healthier, more equitable communities.

The Community-Centered Care Professional Certification is designed for professionals who work to improve the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of others in their communities. This program explores community-centered methods for addressing barriers to positive health outcomes and strengthening the care and support professionals provide.

Participants will examine how history, culture, and implicit bias shape people's experiences and access to care. With an emphasis on cultural competency and authentic allyship, the program helps participants better understand diverse perspectives and respond thoughtfully to the needs of the communities they serve.

Participants will gain:

  • Practical tools for recognizing and correcting bias.
  • Strategies for incorporating equity into workplace policies, procedures, and safeguards.
  • Community-centered approaches to apply in everyday professional practice.

Put these skills into action to support more responsive care and lasting improvements in community wellbeing.
