Course Detail: LNG917 - German: Advanced

The focus of this advanced course is on learning additional vocabulary and constructing complex sentences. Through interactive exercises and practical activities, students are encouraged to deepen their language skills.





Course Objectives:

  • Students will improve their ability to express thoughts precisely and clearly through targeted guidance and interactive exercises. 
  • Through practical language application, students will have the opportunity to enhance their communication skills and speak fluently. 
  • Reading and comprehension skills are also developed. By reading texts and completing comprehension exercises, students improve their ability to understand and interpret written language.

Prerequisite: German: Intermediate level or intermediate language proficiency.


Instructor Aaron Stanley is a German teacher and avid traveler. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne and an Indiana educator's license. He spent two months abroad in Germany and another month between England, France, and Spain. He has worked with international and domestic students for a number of years, and enjoys sharing the German language and culture with others.
