Biography: During Kayleen Reusser's 30-year writing career, she has written 28 books for adults and children. Her 10 books on World War II are based on interviews with 260 veterans, mostly from northeast Indiana. She has presented in-person and virtual programs to thousands of people. Her most recent book contains stories from men who served in Vietnam - "Voices From Vietnam: Stories of War." As the wife and mother of Air Force airmen, Reusser focuses her writing efforts on telling veteran stories to help preserve America's military heritage and raise the level of patriotism in this country.
