Course Detail: CMP503 - Excel®: Automating Workbook Functionality and using Macros

Microsoft® Excel® 2019 includes a range of features that enable you to automate a wide variety of workbook tasks.

Microsoft® Excel®: Automating Workbook Functionality and Using Macros is designed for users who want to work smarter and more efficiently within Excel 2019. This course focuses on tools that help you automate common workbook tasks, reduce manual effort, and maintain accurate, reliable data.

You'll learn how to control and standardize data entry using data validation, ensuring information is entered correctly the first time. The course also covers techniques for locating invalid data and identifying formula errors, helping you troubleshoot issues quickly and protect the integrity of your work. In addition, you'll be introduced to macros and learn how they can be used to automate repetitive actions, saving time and increasing consistency across your workbooks.

By the end of the course, you'll have practical skills you can immediately apply to streamline workflows, minimize errors, and confidently manage more complex Excel workbooks.
