The growth and success of Agile has revealed the need for standardizing practices and for certifying practitioners. The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or PMI-ACP certification was created to improve the use of Agile for increased project success. It is broader-based than Scrum, covering a number of relevant approaches and domains such as Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD.), and,includes a deep dive into Scrum.
The PMI-ACP® is one of the fastest growing certifications provided by Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMI-ACP® spans many approaches to agile such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD). Topics will provide an introduction to Agile, the different approaches to Agile, a review of recommended reading material, and real-world application for Agile principles. As a project management professional, getting the PMI-ACP certification and enhancing your skills and knowledge about Agile will benefit your organization.
