Hear the fascinating true stories of the men and women who served our country during World War II!

Author and speaker Kayleen Reusser will share the stories of men and women who faced danger, injuries, separation from family, loneliness, deprivation and more - all for the sake of serving their country. During the course, Kayleen will recount many memorable stories that are included in her ten books on World War II. All stories come from interviews that she conducted with 260 veterans, mostly from northeast Indiana.




This course will be delivered online. Classes will be facilitated by a live instructor during the scheduled course times. Participants should have a computer with a strong internet connection, a working microphone, and speakers. Students should be prepared to utilize the camera and microphone. Class participation enhances the online learning experience.





During Kayleen Reusser's 30-year writing career, she has written 28 books for adults and children. Her 10 books on World War II are based on interviews with 260 veterans, mostly from northeast Indiana. She has presented in-person and virtual programs to thousands of people. Her most recent book contains stories from men who served in Vietnam - "Voices From Vietnam: Stories of War." As the wife and mother of Air Force airmen, Reusser focuses her writing efforts on telling veteran stories to help preserve America's military heritage and raise the level of patriotism in this country.
