Course Detail: PER418 - Polymer Clay Jewelry: Earrings for Beginners - NEW!

Craft your own Polymer Clay Earrings!

Learn how to craft and design polymer clay earrings. Students will learn how to mold and manipulate the clay to prepare it for use, cut and create the shapes, and prepare pieces for curing (baking).

Once cured, students will receive hands-on instruction on how to sand, drill, and assemble their creations into beautiful pieces of jewelry. Each student will craft and design at least three sets of earrings.

I have been creating art for as long as I can remember and I've always been fascinated with trying a variety of mediums. I began painting when I was a little girl and still enjoy it to this day; watercolor is my preferred paint. Knitting, crochet, cross stitch, and embroidery are other crafts that I enjoy. My experimentation with ceramics led to my discovery of working with clay and I started creating with polymer clay in spring of 2021. Because polymer clay is so versatile, it allows for a wide range of creativity. I am excited to share my skills with new students and watch their creativity blossom.
