Course Detail: LNG415 - Korean Language and Culture for Beginning and Intermediate Learners


Korean culture is not only steeped in a long history and tradition, but is also one of the most popular contemporary pop cultures in the world. At the heart of Korean culture is the Korean language. In this class, students will learn the Korean alphabet, known as Hangul, and how to read, write, and speak Korean. 

Students will have the opportunity to experience Korean culture and gain an understanding of various practical aspects of life in Korea. If you need to acquire basic Korean for travel, study, or work in Korea, this class will help you build a foundation in the language.




Please Note:

  • This course is designed for adult students age 18 and above. 
  • Students will be tested and then placed in the appropriate level following registration.
  • Textbooks will be provided for student use by the school.  At the end of the course, all textbooks must be returned.
