Course Detail: PER902 - Girls STEM Leadership Exploration: GIRLS: Transform Our Future!

GIRLS can make a difference in any city!

In this camp, you will work with a team to imagine, design, collaborate, and construct your vision of a section of an innovative futuristic city.

While working on your project, you will interact with female engineers and STEM professionals who will share what they do on their job and what made them successful. You can explore your own potential in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) field by asking questions that will help you decide if pursuing a STEM major is right for you.

No matter your future career, you will flex your collaboration skills, learn new leadership strategies, and have fun meeting and working with girls from our community. The camp is led by experienced teachers and incorporates daily contact with female professionals.

This camp is offered by the College of ETCS.

Summer STEM Explorations are enrichment camps for 8th through 12th grade students that enhance the participants' knowledge of engineering, technology, and computer science (ETCS).
