Education: Dr. Tan holds a Bachelor degree in Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland, an MBS from the National University of Ireland and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from the Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management from APICS.

Consulting and Industry Experience: Dr. Albert Tan has worked as a consultant for the Center for Corporate Learning at the Singapore Manufacturers' Federation (SMa) and as Director in a government agency in Singapore. He has also held position as the Associate Director at The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific, NUS; managing the Double Master program in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management. He has held teaching positions in the college of graduate studies at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, National University Singapore, Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MIT SCALE Network), Curtin University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Singapore.

Interests: His research interests are in Blockchain, Process Reengineering, Omnichannel logistics and Reverse Logistics.
