Course: Raised on Cornbread and Coal Dust: An Appalachian Coalfield Journey (OSH-CORNBRD)

The primary presenter and guest speakers involved in this presentation are natives of the coalfields of the Appalachian region of West Va-tucky: southern West Virginia, southwestern Virginia, and southeastern Kentucky. Each will examine facets of this diverse area that focus on its unique culture, rich history, challenging geography, educational progression, political alliances, religious influences, transitioning economy, cultural influences, and problematic future.
