Course: Eating for Brain Health (OSH-BRNHLTH)
Discover the optimal foods that evidence-based research suggests you eat every day to strive for optimal brain health. You will learn what these foods are, what serving sizes you should consume daily, and how to make meals out of these brain-nourishing foods. This is valuable information for anyone wanting to prevent and halt brain diseases via lifestyle choices and those new to whole food, plant-based eating. This course is led by Dr. Denise Rose (Ph.D.), a sociologist and passionate, enthusiastic educator who has taught WFPB nutrition for several years. Now 74, Denise so far has defied her family's history of chronic disease and believes her embracement of a WFPB diet and other critical lifestyle medicine behaviors has created this outcome. Denise also has a YouTube channel with her husband called Happy Vegan Couple. On their YouTube channel, they post WFPB cooking videos to help plant-based eaters learn how to cook delicious, healthy foods in their own kitchens; she also shares long form interviews with people who have transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle and received major health benefits due to their dietary change.
