Join us for four movies in which music is central to the story - in some cases, pretty much the whole story. We'll watch one of the finest movies made straight from a musical: Cabaret with Joel Gray and Lisa Minelli. (It won three Oscars.) Next a delightful off-beat film about Ireland's best MoTown band (yes, that's right): The Commitments. Then we'll revisit the Fab Four in A Hard Day's Night, a movie you probably remember as a 'lark,' but which critics now say was actually a significantly good movie - and is, of course, totally fun. Finally, a contemporary charmer with the inimitable Anna Kendrick: Pitch Perfect.
