Course detail: Fire Officer 2 Training

This two-day IFSAC and Pro Board certification course addresses NFPA 1020, Chapter 10, Standard for Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, Fire Officer, and Emergency Medical Services Officer Professional Qualifications. Designed for company officers who aspire to enhance their knowledge and skills while preparing to advance in rank and responsibility, the course covers human resource management, community and government relations, administration, inspection and investigation, emergency service delivery, and health and safety. Completion of Fire Officer I certification is required prior to enrollment. Certification written examination is administered on Day 2.

Required Textbook - either hard copy or e-book: Jones & Bartlett Learning, Fire Officer: Principles and Practice, 5th Edition. National certification is available for this level.
