This micro-credential course offers an in-depth look at Functional Assessment-Based Intervention (FABI) Step 2: Conducting the Functional Assessment. This course will teach participants how to operationally define the target (i.e., challenging behavior to reduce) and replacement (i.e., contextually appropriate behavior to increase) behaviors, collect data from a variety of sources (e.g., informal classroom observations, cumulative record review, interview with educators, family, and student, A-B-C data), and use the Function Matrix to determine the function of a behavior.Prerequisite: Ci3T 1-Intro to Ci3T; Ci3T 12-Intro to FABI, Ci3T 13-FABI Step 1
