Course detail: Archivist for a Day
Ever wonder what it takes to be an archivist? Participants will hear from archives staff about their job duties, learn the steps of fulfilling a reference request and how a collection is processed, and perform hands-on research with Senator Bob Dole's congressional manuscript boxes. Also, explore behind the scenes in the archival stacks and a guided tour of the museum gallery at the Dole Institute of Politics.
Limited to 20 participants. Includes presentations, behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on activities and lunch.
