This microcredential is the second in a series of three microcredentials on personalizeable education. In this microcredential, participants will explore the motivating power of self-determined learning and the benefits of helping students develop unique strengths. Participants will also gain an understanding of the basic concepts, terminology, and development of Self-Determination Theory, which forms the research-based theoretical foundation of personalizable education. Participants will demonstrate this understanding by presenting reflections on the learning materials and their own experiences as a learner and as a teacher.
