Course detail: Advanced Cervical Cancer Mentorship Program (Kenya)

The Advanced Cervical Cancer Mentorship Program is a 10-week online training designed to strengthen the knowledge and clinical skills of healthcare providers and managers in Kenya. Delivered weekly in one-hour sessions, the program equips participants with advanced competencies in cervical cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, and management.
Through expert-led modules, participants gain in-depth understanding of cervical anatomy and HPV pathogenesis, develop hands-on skills in VIA/VILI and colposcopy, and practice case-based approaches to improve diagnostic accuracy. The course also emphasizes effective communication and counseling, application of updated national screening guidelines, and implementation of quality assurance and monitoring systems.
By the end of the program, participants will be able to integrate evidence-based practices into routine care, address common challenges in cervical health services, and contribute to stronger community-based screening and referral systems.
Target Audience: 180-250 healthcare providers and health managers engaged in cervical health across Kenya.
Format: Live online sessions via Zoom (weekly, 1 hour).
