Course detail: Community Behavioral Health Worker Training (CBHW)
This 48-hour virtual training provides you with skills associated with behavioral health, substance use disorder, and community health work. (This training does not qualify you for Kansas State CHW certification.)
Eligibility Criteria
- 18 years or older
- At least a GED or high school diploma
Course Materials
Course materials, including outlines, presentation copies, and supplementary materials, will be accessible through Canvas, KU's online learning system. Instructions will be provided upon completed registration for how to set up your KU online ID to access Canvas.

Prior to registering, you must complete an applicant screening process, which includes a brief application form and short phone call. A link will be provided here when pre-registration opens.
