Summer Algebra Challenge

Times: 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. 

Course Description: Get ready for Algebra! Join us for a week-long exploration of fundamental algebraic concepts. Students will focus on mastering a variety of skills including the manipulation of algebraic expressions including factoring, solving linear equations and inequalities, and algebraic problem solving. 

Each day will include hands on learning experiences, real-world concept connections, skills rehearsal opportunities, and daily mastery challenges. Students will participate in an Algebra Bowl on the final afternoon of the camp for a chance to win prizes including a TI-84 Plus graphing calculator! Registration will close at 15 participants!

• Ages: Students 7th grade - 9th grade
• Location: Governors State University, TBD
• Snacks will be provided. A camp t-shirt will be provided. Lunch will not be provided.
