The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate program will focus on both Advanced Lean Techniques and Six Sigma "Green Belt" methodologies. Detailed and real-world examples of lean thinking will be reviewed with hands - on examples to enhance the learning experience. Learn how to integrate theories of business, statistics, and the elimination of waste with the goal of achieving tangible results. Six Sigma methods will include project planning and various statistical tools to equip the student to be Green Belt certified and a practitioner of Lean Six Sigma at their organization. The course is offered 100% online. Textbooks are an additional fee. Funding Available: This is a WIOA Approved Program.

Lean Six Sigma for Supply Chain Certification focuses solely on Supply Chain. (LS3C) is a fresh new perspective to improve Supply Chain process flow while utilizing tools that Lean Six Sigma offers. Focusing entirely on Logistics, Distribution, Warehousing, Transportation and Procurement enables the practitioner to analyze current trends and follow-thru implementation. Governors State University’s two-day licensure review course provides 12 hours of intense preparation for the LSW/LCSW exams. This review course uses the most up-to-date examination materials from Licensing ExAm Preparation Services, LLC and reflects the latest diagnostic publication (DSM-5™). Attendees will receive a comprehensive study guide with current practice questions, test taking strategies, information on what to expect on the day of the exam, as well as reference materials at the end of the study guide.

This comprehensive online 50 hour program will prepare students to work as a pharmacy technician in a retail or other pharmacy setting and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's PTCB exam. Course content includes: pharmacy medical terminology, the history of pharmacy, the pharmacy practice in multiple environments, pharmacy calculations and measurements, reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names.

ONLINE/SELF PACED: The student will determine his or her start date and will be given up to 6 months to complete the program.

OPTIONAL Non-Paid 40 Hour Externship. To be eligible for the clinical externship, students must successfully complete the 50 hour program, submit to a thorough background check, drug screening, and meet other requirements.

National Certification: This program meets the necessary requirements to take the Pharmacy Technician Certified Board (PTCB).

This 90 hour Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares professionals to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis.  Students will become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. Course includes terminology, anatomy and physiology; blood collection procedures; specimen hands-on practice; and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods.  

National Certification In-class students who successfully complete the program can sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam.

Optional Non-Paid 40 Hour ExternshipTo be eligible for the clinical externship, students must successfully complete the 90 hour program, submit to a thorough background check, drug screening and meet other requirements.
